About this quiz

  • The questions are the 50-item Big-Five factor markers of the International Personality Item Pool (IPIP), which is in the public domain (Goldberg, 1992).
  • Each answer scores 1 to 5, and reverse-keyed questions are scored the other way round. Each trait has 10 questions, so its score is from 10 to 50.
  • Low, average and high are equal thirds of the score range (10–23, 24–36, 37–50), not a comparison with other people. No trait is good or bad.
  • This test is for self-reflection and entertainment. It is not a psychological assessment.
